Beatrice Joslin or "BJ"
was such an angel. Here she is in her Angel Outfit waiting for a parade to
begin! Ellie, her Guardian angle says now she gets to wear it every day
meeting and playing with the other dogs at the Rainbow Bridge.
When "BJ" first came into the Rescue she had "cherry eye" and needed to be spayed ..as it turned out she was a wild WILD child... She was not just a "Busy" puppy but a WILD WILD WILD puppy who had been born and raised up to about 7 months in a puppy mill then a pet store. With endless patience and love this darling little dog was saved. Truly she was. I remember Ellie once saying with a laugh..well there was never any one day that it was so bad that either she or her husband both on the same day said oh we just can not continue with BJ it is too much! And... BJ truly was a challenge! They rode through months and months years even of teaching her about being loved and learning better ways to behave. They built their home and garden so that she no longer could get into so much trouble...even the gardens...they had to build raised beds and construct wire cages around the high sides..it still did not stop BJ from scaling the wire and jumping into the garden and pulling out and digging up the rows of vegetables...or roses bushes and redistributing them! BJ you were the most darling little dog and you knew you were a lucky girl. It was so wonderful to see the change in BJ as she "came round" to being what she could be which was a very very special and darling little Basset Hound . |
