We make tribute to one of the best friends and close Family member Margaret and I have ever known. Bart was with us for 17 years and was the greatest dog – pet – Family member – but mostly Pal.

It is difficult to know how you will feel when a friend of this caliber goes to his rest. Bart lived a good and very long life – no complaints there! But I will miss him and the wonderful spirit he added to our Family for all those years.

My heart aches at the telling of this and I wish it were not so – but life is a process, and the process cannot be undone – like a river flowing ever on. Now, we will cherish his memory as he rests close to an old friend of his by the name of Willie. In honor to Bart, we will plant a special tree to mark his place and the world will go on living.

And maybe tomorrow, we will not feel so sad – but we will never forget “old Barty”!
