Brutus now named Elmer Fudd. His owners have two house rabbits, therefore the name Elmer Fudd. The first few days he chased (at a low pace) the rabbits, he has discovered they belong there and is totally fine with them. They love his laid back manner and he has claimed their hearts. Brutus has a T-Shirt on because his previous families German Shepherd chewed him up. His stitches will be out soon, and we will discard his T-Shirt. He is house training and quite a character. You MUST have a securely fenced yard. Please complete the Adoption Application on main page of the site. Because we do not have any "real" history on the rescue bassets, we DO NOT place with families with children under six years of age. This is for your child's protection. If you do not live in the Spokane area, transport is at YOUR expense.
