Little Peter, now Jake, has found his happy home. Not only does he have a loving Mom and Dad and 2 young ladies to pour attention on him, but he also has a female basset, close to his age to play with. They adopted Jake knowing that he was scheduled for leg surgery. He came thru his surgery the champ he is. He is one easy pup to love.

Peter, along with Paula and Mary were found along the Hwy by Look Out Pass, so we have no history of these sweeties. Since they were not claimed, they might have been dumped. Peter love attention, but is the shy one of the three. He is on the thin side, but bassets love being fattened up.

You MUST have a securely fenced yard.

Because we do not have any "real" history on the basset rescues we DO NOT place with families with children under 6 years of age. This is for your child's protection.

If you do not live in the Spokane area, transportation IS at your expense.

Adoption fee ($95) barely covers S/N, immunizations, and microchip. Senior bassets cost is reduced.
