Angie and family were looking for "A" bassets. So I took Molly (a wantabe only child and Pumpkin and Rocky - fast friends). All the bassets charmed them, in the end they decided that 2 would be GREAT. I talked with Angie the other night and they are totally in love with these two. Pumpkin has continued to bring the puppy out in Rocky. Plus Rocky feels so secure and loved, his happy funny personality is coming out more and more daily. Everyone has always marveled at Pumpkin, this little starved girl never lost her loving, sweet, playful basset personality. She gets the Miss Cuddlier award. These lucky pups have found their forever home.
Lil Pumpkin was chained to the shelter fence in Boise, she weighed 31
pounds, was filthy, with long, long nails, inverted eye lashes, and
emaciated. These pictures were taken not to long after she came in, she is
looking great now. She was spayed, had a eye life, and a dental clean up.
My vet figures she is about 3 years old. This Lil Pumpkin must not have
been cared for, and yet she is the sweetest, cuddley, kissing little girl
- it is amazing what these sweet dogs can go through and still keep their
happy loving dispositions.
