Adopted! Jane and Don have has bassets most of their lives. After their last one passed, life just wasn't the same without the sound of puppy feet (but they didn't want a young puppy). Hunter was all basset and being an adult was the right one for them. Jane said that they are re-training themselves with food items on the counter and mentioned that Hunter could hear the pantry door open from 500 yards away. Hunter wants to play with the old cat, but the cat so far just huffs at him. Hunter has found his forever home, and is loved. Meet Hunter. He is about 5 years old. His owner left the country. Hunter is the perfect basset, everything a basset should be. Granted he is a BIG boy, but not overweight. I was totally in love with him, by the time I transported him 2 hours to home. Last night we were all out in the yard, he was laying with a tennis shoe toy in his mouth, with the strings hanging down - of course the camera was inside. This is a real prize.
