Roscoe Basset Hound

Cheril and Mike came over to check out the bassets (I think they were just interested in one).  They fell in love with Roscoe - He was so pitiful with his infected ears, you just felt you had to mother him).  Maddie made them laugh with her silly personality.  They came back and visited again.  Roscoe's ear were still being treated, but Cheril had lots of experience treating her previous old basset.  Maddie was a talker who loved to tell you about herself.  Roscoe's ears hurt (he had had cheap grass removed) so he was totally quiet.  They determined they had room in their hearts and home for both Roscoe and Maddie.  Talking with Cheril, once the meds, time, and loving care healed his ear drums, Roscoe found his voice and is running competition with Maddie in the talking department.  These two and going to be loved and cared forever.

Roscoe was found running the field in Boise. His owner didn't claim him, so he came to rescue. Roscoe came with Cheat Grass with an abscess between his toes, plus Cheat Grass in both ears which had ruptured his ear drum. He hears just fine, but we are still working on healing up the burrow holes in his ears from the cheat grass. He is so sweet and just lets you work on his ears, and you know they hurt him. This is one gentle, sweet boy.
