Nibble has found a wonderful home. She going to have 2 mommies, plus they have a female basset/black lab to play with. They have a huge fenced back yard for romping and playing, with doggie door to a house filled with doggie delights. Nibbles has one great forever home. Mary, who works at the shelter, named this sweet Bassador Nibbles, because when you find the right spot to rub him on his back - he nibbles on his leg. This is one gentle boy. He is shy and as much as he wants love and pets, he is a little shy about coming up to people. Once he finds out that you are not going to hurt him, he is full of loves a kisses. Since he was a stray, we have no history on this great pup. He might not have spent much time indoors as he is startled by house noises and he watched TV his first day here. Nibbles looks like he is out of the same litter, that we rehomed a number the Basset/Black Labs, which makes him 2 on 24 July 2004. Nibbles has a great Lab head - longer ears, Lab coat and those short basset legs. Both Labs and Bassets have great sweet personalities and are wonderful breeds - with Nibbles you get the best of both breeds. Nibbles is wonderfully house trained and is learning the doggie door. Because of Nibbles shyness, young children might be to much for him. Gentle older children would be fine as he loves to play with balls and toys. He has a great personality, and it is going to be fun to watch him bloom once he learns to trust his new family.
