Mitch  Basset Hound

Poor thin Mitch has found his forever home. Adena could not resist the pleading face. Adena renamed him Pepper and he really likes his new name. Adena works in a vet's office, so Pepper is going to receive great vet care, plus her has already put on a few much needed pounds. No more running the streets for Pepper.

Mitch was a stray. After lots of advertising he is up for adoption. He is about 1 1/2 years old. And he is so thin, and oh so hungry for love. We are working on house training. He loves going in and out the doggie door, but hasn't made it thru the night, unless crated - he might be afraid of the dark. He is playing with the other bassets here. This poor baby was not been taken care of, so if you have room in your heart for some tender loving care and would enjoy a little shadow following you around - this is the boy for you. He would do very well with another dog he could play with. He is going to be a beautiful boy once he gets some meat on him.
