Long Tall Sally  Basset Hound

Amy wrote me the note below, which says it all.  Sally is one lucky happy, love girl.  Thank you and cheers for Amy and Sally.

"Sally is the sweetest dog.  We go on walks every day, go and visit with other dogs and friends.  She is getting a lot of play time with other dogs.  She is so sweet that everyone wants to take her home.  She is getting along great with the kitties.  They have done some nose kisses and the kitties are fascinated with Sally and follow her around and watch her every move.  Sally is still on Canidae and is up to 42 pounds.  My vet wants her to gain 5-8 more pounds so that her ribs are not so noticeable. We start obedience training with Becky Bishop of puppy manners.com today.  I imagine that we both have a lot to learn but sally wants to please so I am really looking forward to it.  You can see some photos of her on raincitystory.com which is Michael's weblog. We already love her so much and I can't believe that anyone could ever let her go!"

Poor Long Tall Sally is looking for a forever home. Sally is 2 1/2 years old and has been in 5 homes. She is great with kids, but the problem is homes with small children have proven to be to unstable to provide a permanent home for Sally. Sally is a basset mix, possible with a Whippet, she is very active, but such a cuddle bug. She love being loved and petted. She is house trained, doggie door trained, crate trained, knows her sit and loves to come to her name because that means she is going to get some lovin. If you can provide a PERMANENT loving home for Sally, she would be the happiest girl ever.
