Lola  Basset Hound

Lola has found her happy home.  Janice told me that if after the 2 week visit I tried to take Lola back, they would abduct Lola and move to New Zealand.  Needless to say, Lola has found herself a great, wonderful, loving home.

I rescued a mostly basset from the parking lot of a Wal Mart here in Omak, Washington on December 23rd. Her people through her out of the car in a snow storm and left her. We waited for several hours to see if they would return, but to no avail. My son and I took her home with us and she has been living in our home ever since. Unfortunately, I already have the limit of two dogs for our town and I must find her a forever home. I have been trying for months to place her, but I have run out of options.
She is approximately 2 years of age (according to the vet), She is in excellent health and is the sweetest dog you would every want. She LOVES everyone; dogs, cats, adults and children. I have only heard her bark once in three months. She is totally housebroken, walks on a leash with ease and is very well mannered in the home. She doesn't chew or bark when left alone. She loves to ride in the car every chance she gets.
