Leo Basset Hound

Sweet Leo has found his forever home with Sue and Bailey. Bailey and Leo are best of friends and the cats have accepted Leo. Sue is such a gentle person, Leo immediately felt secure and moved right in for a tummy rub. This is such a good home for Leo, his health is improving with good food and TLC.

Leo's ears are healed and he has clean sparkling teeth, and he is a happy boy.  Leo is a sweetheart, he loves to share your bed (and prefers to have a little blanket over him.  Leo would be a wonderful addition to a family that has another basset for him to play with - he is so great with other dogs.  Leo would also be great in a gentle home. 


Leo's poor ears were so bad and had to have been that way for a while, that he didn't want anyone to touch them. His ears are healing and his abscessed tooth will be taken care of the 7th of April. This boy loves to play with all the other dogs. He also loves playing with balls and toys.. He is not a boy for a family with young children. He learned to snap at people to keep them away from his ears, as his ears heals hopefully this aspect will go away. As he is the sweetest loving boy, who loves to be petted and play with.
