Greg and his family previously had a basset that died of old age. They fell in love with Earl. Earl is no longer a lowly Ear, he is KING of the house with everyone loving on him. Earl is eating up all this wonderful attention - a big change from being chained outdoors to a dog house. Great job Earl. Earl is a wonderful 2 1/2 year old boy. He gives the greatest kisses and loves attention. He is having a great time playing with the other bassets here at the house. He was turned in by some people that thought he was darling, but their old dog did not agree. He didn't want another dog to share with. Earl is doggie door trained, and house trained. He loves to play with toy and is a fun happy boy.
