Bitsy  Basset Hound

Some days I stand in wonder at the powers that get these rescue sweeties to their very right home.

Francis's daughter had email mailed about a dog for her father. We emailed back and forth for a few weeks, but nothing was ever set up. This morning, Bitsy was making her presences known and I had a strong feeling that I should call Millwee and tell her about Bitsy. By the time I called this feeling was so strong that Bitsy belonged with her dad. Francis's wife had passed away one year ago today. Millweel caught the feeling also, and we met. It was big happy smiles and everyone knew it was right. I somehow believe that Francis's wife, knowing how unhappy Francis was, somehow "arranged" for Bitsy to come into Francis life and make him smile again. I stand back in awe.

Bitsy was a stray, who's owners never came to claim her. She is a sweet older girl. Whoever owner her feed her well (she needs to loose a few pound). But she is a happy active girl, who is oh so happy to have a soft chair to rest in. This is one very nice little girl.
