Donna saw Sadie at Petsmart before her
pictures were even up on the site and wanted to do a trail visit with the
sweet wonderful 4 year old girl. The whole family fell in love with
Sadie's sweet gentle spirit, plus her funny clown side. Sadie quickly
taught them that sandwiches on the edge of counters were fair game. Sadie
was a stray from Kootenai Shelter, where her owner did not claim her.
Donna called me yesterday to say that Sadie has her forever home with
their family. Sadie also taught them that chain link fences need the
bottom support wire, so she can't got visiting the neighbors. Sadie is a
special girl, and a typical basset - they worm their way into your hearts,
and we change things to accommodate them.
