Wanted to let you know that MaGoo has simply made himself right at home here. Our Danes really like him and our other Basset has his nose a little out of joint, but I think they will be playing together very soon. MaGoo spent his first night in our bed. He is a bit of a bed hog, but if you touch him gently he will move. My husband got him to play this morning. MaGoo follows me everywhere. (Probably because I give him cookies) I have begun treating his eyes because they look like they are a bit infected. We will make MaGoo's "retirement" happy for him. He will be an inside dog with Kramer (our other basset). I am so glad that we were able to take him. I think it was "meant to be" as I saw MaGoo two months ago and wanted him. McGoo is a wonderful senior, who still like to play and love to go for walks. According to the previous owners he was an "outside" dog. The sweet baby is oh so happy to be a "inside" boy. He is wonderfully house trained and love napping on big fluffy pillows and being clean. MicGoo has bundles of personality and love people, get along well with the other dogs. His previous owners said the he was food aggressive with his dog bones. I have not seen that, but he would probably be better with children over 10.
