Washington Basset Rescue
Washington Basset Rescue is a
nonprofit organization dedicated to placing unwanted and abandoned Basset Hounds
into suitable homes and preventing unwanted Bassets from overloading the shelter
systems. Towards attaining those goals, we promote responsible dog ownership by
educating the public in selection, care and training of Bassets. We work in
cooperation with animal shelters and responsible breeders.
Washington Basset Rescue relies on
donations and fund raising activities for its income.
