These prizes almost floated away!!! 
The day before this event a Tornado touched down in western Spokane.
Two days before that, one in East Wenatchee.

 RECORD 24 HOUR RAINFALL SET AT SPOKANE AIRPORT...

THE PRECIPITATION AT SPOKANE AIRPORT IN THE PAST 24 HOURS 
from May 22 @ 1:52 AM WAS 2.19 INCHES. 
THIS SETS THE RECORD FOR THE MOST PRECIPITATION
FOR THIS DATE. THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 1.42 INCHES WAS SET IN 1925.
RECORDS HAVE BEEN KEPT SINCE 1881.

(The day of the event 0.30" of rain fell). High 55° Low 46°

Undaunted the WABR event continued with the raising of tents 
and canopies to help keep folks dry.  

Build it and they will come.....
